SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Scott Pasmore and Tara Hitchcock talked to Jeff Plotts, the directors of course maintenance at TPC Scottsdale, about what goes into preparing the course for the "greatest show on grass," the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

They also talked about the unusually cold weather that forced the cancellation of Wednesday's Pro-Am and delayed this morning's first round play until 11:40 a.m.

"This is unprecedented," Plotts said. "We've never seen anything like this."

Plotts went to talk about preparing the course for the open. Those preparations started back in October.
