PHOENIX -- A CenturyLink employee is recovering after he was shot and robbed while on the job Tuesday.

It happened near 22nd Street and Southern.The victim was sitting in his car when a man on a bike  approached him, and pulled a gun.

The suspect demanded money, then shot him in the shoulder.

"There was a demand for his wallet and his money," says Sgt. Trent Crump of the Phoenix Police Dept. "He was trying to produce that. Ultimately, he ended up shot once."

3TV obtained video of the man who police say matches the description of the shooter. Investigators are still trying to determine if he's the guman.

The CenturyLink employee was able to drive himself to get help. He is expected to survive.
