PHOENIX -- Some of the busiest places around the Valley on Tuesday, after Monday’s big storm, were the car washes.
“It was filthy,” said David Sandoval washing off his car.
“I couldn't see out those windows at all, it was a dirty mess this morning,” said Karen Royce drying off her van.
For many, Tuesday was a cleaning day and on Royce's "to do" list, washing away the Arizona desert left behind by Mother Nature, was first.
“My grandchildren didn't even want me to take them to school this morning, we can't ride in that car,” said Royce.
Apparently, many others were feeling the same way, seeing a line at the car wash was a common site.
“All the dust that was blowing last night and the rain together it was terrible. So you had to get it in right now? Exactly, I couldn't drive it like this,” said Sandoval.
