WHY, Ariz. -- Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents patrolling the desert east of Why, Ariz., late Thursday night found an abandoned vehicle full of marijuana.

Ajo Station agents located the abandoned Chevrolet Tahoe parked in a large thicket just off Federal Route 7 and found 1,490 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle.

Record checks revealed the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Nevada.

The 66 bundles of marijuana are valued at nearly $745,000.

Agents were unable to locate suspects who may have been involved with transporting the contraband.
