PHOENIX -- A court hearing for an Iraqi immigrant accused of killing his daughter because she had become too Westernized has been delayed a second time because he is on suicide watch in jail.

The video arraignment of Faleh Hassan Almaleki was rescheduled for Nov. 16. It was originally scheduled for Thursday but that was moved to Monday because of his status.

Court officials say the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office didn't transport Almaleki both days because he's on suicide watch.

He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, but police say those will be upgraded considering his daughter's death.

Peoria police say Almaleki ran down his daughter and her boyfriend's mother on Oct. 20 with his Jeep. Noor Faleh Almaleki died about two weeks later. The other woman is expected to survive.
