PHOENIX -- Former Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas said he still hasn’t decided if he will run for governor of Arizona in 2014.

On Wednesday, Thomas announced that he is “seriously considering running,” and will make a decision sometime in the next 90 days.

Thomas has been hinting lately that he might decide to run for governor, and earlier this week he said there are a lot of people in the state who would like to see him in office.

“I have been urged by many leaders and citizens in Arizona to consider running for governor,” Thomas recently told 3TV. “They believe, furthermore, that I have a uniquely compelling message and would win if I ran.”

Thomas was stripped of a his law license back in April after an ethics panel determined that he had wrongly brought criminal charges against two county officials and a judge in 2009 solely for the purpose of embarrassing them.

Other judges also came forward to say that they had been publicly investigated and humiliated. Every single judge involved was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing.

Thomas has always stood by his actions.
