SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Nine people were injured after a suspected drunken driver struck a privately chartered bus, causing it to flip in Scottsdale.

Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark says a car rear-ended the bus, causing the bus driver to lose control about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say one person had life-threatening injuries after the bus flipped on its side.

Clark says the bus was carrying 12 passengers and the driver.

The car driver was arrested on drunken driving charges and 13 counts of aggravated assault.
