PHOENIX -- A 5-year-old boy is in the hospital after nearly drowning in a swimming pool at a Phoenix apartment complex.
It happened Tuesday night near Interstate 17 and Highland Avenue.
Police said there were between 12 and 15 people in the pool at the time, but somehow everybody lost track of the little boy until he was spotted floating face-down.
According to firefighters, bystanders performed CPR until emergency crews arrived.
