GLENDALE, Ariz. – Police arrested an 18-year-old and a juvenile Friday in connection with the shooting death of a maintenance worker at a Glendale apartment complex.
Detectives investigating Tuesday's homicide of Douglas Elliott began to look into Theodore Montgomery as potentially being involved, according to Glendale police spokesman Sgt. Jay O'Neill.
Montgomery was located in Phoenix with two other people. He was detained and taken in for questioning, which led to the identification of other people involved in this incident who are still outstanding, O'Neill said.
Following the interview, Montgomery and a male juvenile were booked on charges related to the homicide.
Elliott, 50, was on duty when he was shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex near 65th Avenue and Bethany Home Road Tuesday afternoon. He died at a hospital.
Police have not determined a motive in this case.
The investigation is ongoing.
