GILBERT, Ariz. --  As the Olympic swimmers compete in London, some local kids are inspired. David Tait, the owner of Evo Swim School and Rio Swim Club, says he's seen enrollement go up.

Tait says this time of the year, it's not as busy, but the Olympics are getting kids excited about the sport.

"There's a lot of buzz out there right now," he said. "Just this week our phones have been ringing off the hooks."

Tait said a lot of kids between the ages of 9 and 13 have expressed interest in swimming, many of
whom never thought about swimming as a sport.
