PRESCOTT - The following is a press release from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office:
On August 28, 2008, a Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a reported burglary that occurred on Fair
MGN Online
The victim discovered suspects cut through three fences to gain access to the rear of the property before forcing entry into the main house. It is likely the suspects made several trips to the victim’s home to steal property. Neighbors reported seeing a suspicious red truck in the area while the residents were gone.
The day following this report, the victim saw the red truck driving in the area. The victim described the driver as a white male, in his 30’s, with multiple tattoos on his arms. The truck was a mid to late 1970’s model, red with white top and significant body damage. The truck bed contained a white fuel/tool chest and a blue 50 gallon barrel among other items. The license plate on the vehicle is Arizona 665FHY which returns to an address in Cottonwood.
Deputies also learned the driver of this truck was acquainted with renters who had recently been evicted from a home in the 17000 block of Fair Oaks Road.
Deputies are working leads provided by the license plate information, but have been unable to locate the truck. Anyone with information regarding this vehicle or suspects is urged to contact Yavapai Silent Witness at 1800-932-3232 or the Sheriff’s Office at 928-771-3260.
