Police looking for 4 suspects

PHOENIX - The following is a press release from the Phoenix Police Department:

On 7-4-08 at about 12:30am the victim, a 25-year-old black male, was working as a security guard at 2398 E Camelback when he was contacted by a female who requested an escort to her car. The victim used the elevator to go to where the female was and as he exited the elevator he was accosted by three Hispanic males, at least one with a handgun. The suspects used plastic zip ties to tie the victim’s hands behind his back and they blindfolded him. They stole the victim’s keys and access pass and went into the building, ransacking some offices and stealing various kinds of electronic equipment. They left the victim bound and blindfolded and fled the scene. The victim was able to escape and call police at about 2:20am. At this time it appears that the female who called asking for an escort is also a suspect. The victim did not actually ever make the escort because he was attacked when he got off the elevator. We do not have any information about who these suspects are. We are not releasing specific information about what items were taken or which businesses in the complex were victimized. The victim suffered minor injuries from the zip ties.
