PHOENIX - The Phoenix Fire Department is on scene of a fire at Sky Harbor involving a Southwest 737 plane on the runway.
Sky Harbor official Julie Rodriguez said the right rear wheel caught fire during landing. The fire is under control.
Passengers are being taken off the plane and bused to the terminal. No injuries have been reported.
Southwest flight 2511 was scheduled to land at Sky Harbor coming from Austin, Texas.
The runway where the plane landed is closed, but the two south runways are open for landings and takeoffs.
There were 127 passengers on the plane. Authorities have not released details on how the tire caught fire.
