10:22 PM Mountain Standard Time on Tuesday, May 20, 2008
PHOENIX -- One suspect is in custody following a bank robbery in Phoenix.
Phoenix Police had to set up a perimeter around an apartment complex near 28th street and Indian School looking for the suspect.
Police say a Bank of America branch was robbed at 7th Street and Hatcher earlier in the afternoon. Later on officers tried to make a traffic stop when the suspect bailed from the car. He was eventually arrested and police are trying to confirm he was, indeed, the suspect from the Bank of America robbery.
No other information on the suspect has been released at this time.
