When officers responded to the house they say someone walking around the house, but he would not open the door when they knocked.

As officers continued to investigate the scene they found the carport door forced open, so they decided to enter the home to check welfare.

When they entered the home they discovered a murder victim.

After searching the residence they located the suspect, Paul Wegele, 31, the man who they originally saw at the home, hiding in a bedroom.

Police believe the victim knew Wegele, but at this time police aren’t sure of their relationship.
Wegele faces first-degree murder charges.
