Body found near 51st Avenue and Hayward

GLENDALE -- Police are investigating after a body was found in Glendale Friday night.

Police say the body of an Hispanic man in his 20s was found shot to death near 51st and Hayward avenues, which is just south of Northern Avenue, around 9 p.m.

The body was found by a passing motorist.

There is no word yet on the victim's identity, cause of death or if foul play is suspected.
