CHANDLER -- On January 3, 2009, at 1:15 P.M., an armed robbery occurred at the Chase Bank branch inside Bashas, located at 1920 W. Chandler Blvd. The suspect passed a note to a teller demanding money. A weapon was never displayed. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 25 years of age, approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall, medium build, wearing black knee length shorts, green and white plaid button up shirt, a green colored fisherman hat and sunglasses.
