PHOENIX -- Emergency crews were called for a water rescue after a pick-up truck got stranded in a wash Monday afternoon.

The truck tried to cross a wash at Spurr Cross and Yucca, even after authorities say they passed signs saying not to cross the roadway when it is flooded.

One person was trapped in the cab and had to be rescued after water covered the front of the truck and spilled into the passenger cabin.
