EL MIRAGE - Police have launched an official investigation into a telephone call where one Valley woman claims she got away with murder.
The call made to a radio station has Phoenix police now looking into the death of an Ahwatukee Foothills man who was killed back in 2001.
The woman making the call, who police believe was the man's girlfriend, allegedly told national talk show host Tom Leykis that she killed him for refusing to pay child support.
According to the East Valley Tribune, police have identified the caller as Megan Suzanne Vice of El Mirage and she has officially been named a suspect in the case.
Police tell 3TV they are launching a new investigation but no arrests have been made.
