PHOENIX -- A ridge of high pressure building over the west will shift east today, bringing temperatures in Arizona back above average.
Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures warmed to the mid 80s in the Valley Monday, but will jump to the low 90s under clear skies Tuesday.
Valley temperatures should peak in the low 90s through Thursday, but climb to the mid 90s on Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, the 3TV Forecasters are predicting our first 100 degree highs of the year. The average date we see that temperature for the first time is about two weeks later on May 2.
Overnight lows this week should stay in the mid 50s to mid 60s.
No rain is forecast for at least the next seven days.
