PHOENIX -- Folks in the new business get to learn a little bit of everything! 3TV's own Fields Moseley got to put his knowledge to the test, when he tried his hand (just for fun) at an audition for the game show Jeopardy.
Trivia buffs showed up from all over the country to try out. And it wasn't just first-timers. About half of the group of 18 had auditioned for the show before. Fields asked one guy trying out if he was nervous. "Not really. Well, I guess a little," he told us. "I did this two years ago in Los Angeles so this is, well, yeah, I'm a little bit nervous."
Folks came armed with a wide range of knowledge and experience. One woman was a librarian. Another was an ASU grad student.
During the audition, producers gave hopefuls some idea of what to expect. Then everyone had to answer 50 secret questions, with only about eight seconds to think about each one.
After that, it was all about fun, using the button, and trying to answer questions on the fly. Fields says he did the best in the "Elf" category!
Jeopardy airs on 3TV at 7:30 p.m. right after Wheel of Fortune.
