Ringing in 2010 in Glendale can mean everything from family-friendly games, arts and crafts, face painting and entertainment, to bull riding and crashing a wedding. Westgate will host one of the biggest New Year's parties in the Valley. The 4th Annual Westgate Rocks New Year’s Eve Party returns to the Plaza at Westgate City Center.

This year's wedding bliss actually takes us back to last year's celebration when a Valley couple met at Westgate on the Plaza – just in time for their midnight kiss. One year later, that kiss will be their first as a married couple – and the entire crowd will bear witness.

There will also be live entertainment by Rock Lobster and Metalhead. To top off your night, you can ride the bull at Saddle Ranch or sing along with dueling pianos at The Shout! House. Ticket prices range from $10 to $30. You have to be at least 21 or older to attend this part of the celebration.

However, for the young and young-at-heart, families can ring in the New Year for free a little earlier in Fountain Park (across from AMC Theaters). Events include live music, entertainment, games, arts and crafts, a caricature artist and much more. The “ball drops” at 10 p.m. in Fountain Park.

Directions to Westgate:
Take the 101 freeway to the Glendale exit. Go east from there. Westgate will be on the south side of Glendale.
