PHOENIX -- Attorneys for confessed killer Jodi Arias filed another motion for mistrial Monday.

In the court documents, Arias' defense attorney says the "circus-like atmosphere" surrounding the trial has made it impossible for Arias to get a fair hearing.

He says it has become, "the equivalent of the Salem Witch Trials."

Arias' team blames prosecutor Juan Martinez and accuses him of playing to the television audiences and the crowds who come to watch the trial.

They also say Martinez should be faulted for "yelling" at witnesses and "throwing" things across court during testimony.

The courtroom drama continues to attract large crowds. More than 60 people were in line by the time the court doors opened at 7:30 a.m. Monday.

"We got here at 6:30 a.m. and the line was already 30 people long," Mikal Ann Dillon said.

She and other court-watchers expect the defense to continue filing motions for mistrial.

"They're just grasping at straws," Dillon said.

The judge did not address the motion for mistrial during court Monday.
