Clock ticking to mail packages for Christmas delivery

PHOENIX -- It's going to be a busy day for the U.S. Postal Service.

USPS estimates that nationwide, some 800 million pieces of mail will be dropped off today. Long lines are expected at post office locations throughout the state,.

Tess Rafols gets some tips to help you get your packages under the tree on time.

Today is the last day to mail your packages via First Class Mail. Tomorrow is the deadline for Priority Mail, and if you really want to wait until the last minute, you have until Wednesday for Express Mail. Both Priority Mail and Express Mail services do cost extra.
