PHOENIX -- We're past Black Friday and Cyber Monday. So, now what do you do to score the best holiday deals out there?

You can save money if you shop on the right days. Usually there are items you can buy at bargain prices depending on the month you buy them.

But now, you may want to pay attention to the day.

Everyone likes a bargain when it comes to shopping and many consumers have their own little
trick to finding the best deals on items.

What do you do to find the best deal on a product and how much time do you spend doing it?

Research? Ask friends? Internet?

According to www.kiplinger.com, researching a product is important, but as it turns out, the
day you buy something may actually mean the most discount.

For example, Mondays mean you'll most likely score a deal on computers and electronics. In fact,
some of those items are usually $50 less than the rest of the week.

Mondays through Wednesdays you'll find TVs and video games at their lowest prices. But they usually go up on Friday, so be careful.

Looking for jewelry? Try to buy it on Wednesday, when prices are slightly lower. Not a lot, but every little bit helps.

Saturdays are good to buy books.

And on Sundays, you can find deals on major appliances like washers, dryers and refrigerators.

And finally, when it comes to actually comparing prices, try these websites:

Amazon.com is known for having the best price comparisons, but don't forget to try sites like PriceGrabber.com, which is easy to navigate.

You should also try Offers.com which shows you the best deals for this holiday season.

By the way, you might want to try a website called dealnews.com. It's probably one of my favorite websites. One of the perks is that the site does the research for you by posting the best bargains that they found at reputable online retailers.
