PHOENIX - A Valley company and its owner are now under criminal investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. 3 On Your Side began looking into Graham Gibson and Central Coast Nutraceuticals more than two years ago.
Central Coast Nutraceuticals sold nutritional supplements online. The business was shut down last year after the Federal Trade Commission filed a civil lawsuit accusing Graham and his company of “deceiving consumers out of tens of millions of dollars.” The U.S. Postal Inspection Service wouldn't go into details about its criminal investigation other to confirm that it is ongoing.
A Valley man has been ordered to pay $20,000 following a 3 On Your Side investigation into his mortgage modification business.
Several homeowners in the Anthem area say Bryan Wooldridge, who owns Property Option Professionals, took thousands of dollars from them and they got nothing in return. They claim Wooldridge was supposed to work with banks to reduce their mortgage payments, but in reality the homeowners say nothing was ever done. After our news report, the Department of Financial Institutions fined Wooldridge $20,000 for operating without a license.
Three months after 3 On Your Side told you about Chrystal Caudill and her moving fiasco, she has received a check for $2,800.
Caudill hired Colonial Van Lines to transport her items from North Carolina to Cave Creek in May. Trouble is, it never showed up. Days after 3 On Your Side got involved, some of her belongings arrived but a lot of items were missing or damaged. Caudill filed a claim with Colonial Van Lines and they cut a check for $2,800. Caudill says she owes it all to 3 On Your Side.
“I don't think they would've responded to me at all if you hadn't called them,” she said.
Al Waters is smiling ear-to-ear after 3 On Your Side helped him get his gold grill fixed.
Waters came to 3 On Your Side claiming the gold teeth he purchased were supposed to be 18-karat gold, but they turned out to be just 10 karat at best. The 3 On Your Side team took the $2,700 teeth back to the retailer after they agreed to remake them and they did. Now Waters' grill is as blingy as can be.
“You guys are the best,” Waters said.
