SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- When Troy Ruggiero takes the mound for Seton Catholic, you can almost guarantee a win.

Almost.

Everything changes when you face a team like Scottsdale's Saguaro High School.

The Saguaro roster is loaded with prospects. The team is coming off back-to-back state championships. Head coach Ryan Dyer may get a 3-peat this season considering the number of seniors on the squad.

Seventy-five percent of the guys on the roster graduate this year. Seniors Chris Akmon and Austin Anderson are power hitters that can go yard anytime. Zach Gibbons, also class of 2012, is a centerfielder who has been a Saguaro starter since his freshman year. Gibbons will be playing for the Arizona Wildcats next year.

It's not just the seniors, sophomore Turner Lace is an up-and-coming player to watch.

Friday it added up to a Saguaro 6-1 win over Seton Catholic.
