Here's the latest recruiting news:

Andrus Peat, the #1 high school football recruit in Arizona, surprised a lot of  people by signing with Stanford today. According to ESPN U, Peat is the 9th best player in the country. His Father played in the NFL. His brother Todd plays at Nebraska. His cousin/friend Avery Moss signed with Nebraska. Some how, the Cornhuskers couldn't get the Corona Del Sol athlete to head to Lincoln.

Congrats to the Bruins! The #4 player in the state, according to Rivals.com, Javon Williams signs with UCLA. The 6'5 WR will join fellow Chandler High Alum QB Brett Hundley on the hip West Coast campus.

ASU has reason to celebrate. On Friday, the #1 runningback in the state, DJ Foster, decided to take his talents to Tempe... they followed that up with the signing of Jaxon Hood. Hood is a 6'1 280lb D-lineman from Hamilton High.

However, it's not all good news from the Sun Devils. Zach Hoffpauir will not to stay in town and attend ASU. The brainy safety is going to get a Stanford degree. Hoffpauir is a game changer. He forces fumbles, has six interceptions on the year and has no issues with coming up and putting a lid on a runningback. According to Rivals.com he is the #2 safety in AZ.

Zach Hemmila, the second highest ranked O-Lineman in the state, signed his paperwork with a smile on his face, and a big Arizona Wilcat shirt on his chest. The 6'3, 275 lb senior is not sure where he will play on the next level, however he hopes to have an immediate impact.

Kisima Jagne stands out in a crowd... or stands over a crowd. At the signing day event taking place at Majerle's Sports Grill in Chandler, the 6'5 DE could be seen from anywhere in the place. The Chandler High Senior will be going to Colorado.

There was no suspense when it came to Kendyl Taylor's future. Taylor has been rocking Washington apparel since the season started. Taylor is one of the most explosive players in Arizona. The WR's brother, Kerry, is a former Sun Devil who plays in the NFL with the Vikings.
