PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office says they recently arrested two men who were planning to have sex with underage girls.
According to YCSO, 30-year-old Cottonwood resident Kai Keller was arrested on July 19 in a commercial parking lot where he planned to meet a young girl.
Authorities said a few days earlier Keller had started an online conversation with a person he believed to be a teenage girl.
During their conversation, YCSO said Keller told the girl he had previously had sex with a 15-year-old girl.
Keller also allegedly sent several pornographic images of himself.
On July 18, Keller suggested a meeting place where they could have sex.
He was arrested the following day when he arrived at the location. Keller has been charged with aggravated luring a minor for sexual exploitation.
On August 2, 60-year-old Tucson resident Ken Roberts was arrested for the same charge after he too tried to meet a young girl for sex.
YCSO said in July, Roberts started an online conversation with what he thought was a teenage girl.
Roberts allegedly went on to send several images of his genitalia and descriptions of sex acts he wanted to perform on the girl.
He also sent a photo of his face, as well as photos of lingerie that he had bought for the girl to model for him.
Roberts would allegedly set up a meeting in Cottonwood with the girl, and was taken into custody when he arrived at the location.
