TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) -- Tucson police say a woman has died after her car left the roadway and ended up in a pond.
The accident occurred Tuesday night in the 2300 block of North Sun Lake Place.
Crews pulled the vehicle out of the water and removed the driver. She was transported to a Tucson hospital and died a short time later.
KVOA-TV reports the woman hit a tree before driving into the water.
