GILBERT, Ariz. -- A Gilbert woman accused of faking cancer to get money pleaded not guilty to multiple felony charges Monday.

41 year old Kelly Ann Wasko was arrested Dec. 3. She was charged with five counts of fraudulent schemes and six counts of theft.

Police say Wasko claimed she needed a bone marrow transplant which her insurance wouldn't cover.

A Facebook page was created to collect funds to assist Wasko with the supposed medical procedure.

The fund-raising page reportedly collected more than $12,000, including a $1,000 donation from Wasko's own adult daughter.

Wasko is due back in court January 24.
