PHOENIX -- A strong spring storm is moving through Arizona today and tomorrow. Expect strong winds today, with a Wind Advisory and Red Flag Warning in effect for parts of the high country.

Strong southwesterly winds and low relative humidity will make fire risk especially high. Although there are no watches or warnings in effect for the Valley, blowing dust is possible with breezy afternoon conditions and no rain.

Southwesterly winds are expected between 10 and 20 mph this afternoon, and could be even stronger tomorrow. There is also a slight chance of rain tomorrow in the Valley, although any rainfall amounts are expected to be light.

Light rain and snow is possible today and tomorrow in the high country, with snow levels coming down as low as 4,000 to 5,000 feet by Wednesday night.

Wednesday is expected to be a windy and cooler day, with Valley temperatures not likely to make it out of the 60s.

Expect a high of about 77 degrees today and 69 degrees tomorrow.

Calmer conditions are expected on Thursday and Friday when we'll return to the 70s and a warm and dry weekend is expected after that.
