PHOENIX -- The week was off to a chilly start, but warmer weather is on the way.

Tuesday morning brought lows again in the 30s across the Valley, but afternoon highs should top out a handful of degrees warmer than Monday's. Expect sunshine and a high of 69 both Tuesday and Wednesday in the Phoenix metro area.

By Thursday, temperatures will be back in the low 70s, which is average for this time of year.

By the weekend, we'll soar into the low 80s and overnight lows will bump up the the low 50s.

Mild, dry weather is expected into early next week with no rain expected for the next seven days.
