PHOENIX -- The Valley is in for a bit of a warm-up in the new week ahead.  Under clear skies and abundant sunshine, look for a Valley high of 87 degrees today.  Clear skies will bring overnight lows down to the 50s tonight into tomorrow morning.

A ridge of high pressure building to our west will keep Arizona under the influence of a dry, westerly flow and temperatures will warm a bit more, especially during the afternoons.

Look for a high temperature Tuesday of about 90 degrees.

On Wednesday, high clouds will stream into the state but we'll still top out near 91 degrees that afternoon.  Overnight lows will come up a bit to the mid 50s to mid 60s around town.

Temperatures fall off to the upper 80s again for Thursday and into the weekend, and no rain is expected in the next seven days.
