YUMA, Ariz. -- The pilot killed in a plane crash on the Barry M. Goldwater Bombing Range has been identified.

Denise Jeanette McCracken, 49, of Tucson, died as a result of injuries sustained in the Nov. 24 crash.

Border Patrol agents found the single-engine passenger plane west of the Mohawk Mountains, approximately 10 to 15 miles south of Interstate 8, and notified the Yuma County Sheriff's Office.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
