SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – A man was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle at Scottsdale Road and Mayo Boulevard Tuesday morning, according to Scottsdale police.
Sgt. Mark Clark said a southbound vehicle left the roadway and went up onto the sidewalk where it struck the man. He had just gotten off of a city bus.
The man, who is in his 30s, was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center for treatment.
The southbound curb lane was closed until about 11 a.m.
