PHOENIX -- For all of public figures who have spoken out against Arizona's New anti-illegal-immigration law without reading it -- and there are several -- a Valley radio personality is hoping to come to the rescue.

As Javier Soto explains, KFYI's Jim Sharpe has put together a CD -- a dramatic reading of Senate Bill 1070.

This morning, he sent copies of that CD to Attorney General Eric Holder and Secretary of Homeland Security (and former Arizona governor) Janet Napolitano, both of whom criticized the bill, and then later admitted they had not read the 10-page measure that has sparked nationwide controversy.

"We have the right to criticize whatever we want. We have freedom of speech in this country," Sharpe said. "I fully support that. If you are not comfortable with the bill, that's fine, and I understand that. But to me, it's very disingenuous to come out and say, 'This bill is misguided,' 'This bill is something I wouldn't have signed,' and you haven't read the bill. That, to me, it just doesn't pass the smell test."

Sharpe also sent copies of his CD to the mayor of Los Angeles and even President Barack Obama.
