PHOENIX -- Many Valley parents and students are frustrated with recent cuts to their school arts, music, and physical education programs. But a local group has come up with a unique way to address the problem.

"Valley Leadership Class 35," has partnered with Phoenix Center for the Arts to send out a mobile art van to deliver arts programming to parts of town, where arts funding in schools has been cut.

"The art-mobile" is called "The Art4All Mobile." It was dedicated last week at the Jerry Colangelo Boys and Girls Club of Phoenix.

Valley Leadership Class 35 is a group of  Phoenix-area business and civic leaders picked for the leadership program.

Valley Leadership, which has been fostering local leaders since 1978, selected Class 35 through a competitive application and interview process. A wide range of business, political and nonprofit leaders are part of this year's class.
