GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Tens of thousands of fans flooded into University of Phoenix Stadium Thursday for the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

The out-of-state dollars flooding into the Valley are something local businesses look forward to all year.

"Fiesta Bowl brings a fun crowd, a great crowd. We stock to the gills with Fiesta Bowl product and we're pretty thin now. Great day," said Mario Sneezey with Just Sports at Westgate City Center

Last year the Fiesta Bowl brought $300 million to Arizona. Over the past five years the annual BCS tilt has generated $1 billion for the Valley economy.

This years Fiesta Bowl featured Oregon and K-State. Oregon won 35-17.
