TEMPE, Ariz. -- Police say they have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with three bank robberies in Tempe last month.
With assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service and Silent Witness, Tempe police located and arrested the suspected "Chase Me Bandit" on Wednesday.
Detectives are trying to determine whether anyone else was involved.
The first robbery was reported April 18 at Chase Bank on Southern Avenue near 48th Street. Two hours later, the boy allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo at Rural and Baseline roads.
Police say he then struck the same Chase Bank on April 24.
