Suspects sought in armed robbery of Surprise fast-food restaurant

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Surprise police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in the armed robbery of a fast-food restaurant.

Two men reportedly entered the restaurant at Litchfield Road and Grand Avenue just before 4 a.m. Monday, June 30 and displayed handguns.

According to police, one man held employees at gunpoint while the other ordered another employee to open the safe.

They fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

One suspect was captured on surveillance video. He is described as a black man and was wearing a fedora hat, a wig, a green shirt, khaki pants and gloves.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man and was wearing a mask or bandanna over his face.
