PEORIA, Ariz. -- Police are searching for two men who robbed a Peoria restaurant at gunpoint Monday.

Just before 8:30 p.m., the men entered the restaurant near 75th and Peoria avenues and pretended to be customers, according to police.

When the clerk went to take their orders, one man pulled out a black handgun and demanded money from the register, police said.

After receiving the money, the robbers left the restaurant and headed north.

Both men are described as being Hispanic, about 16 years old, and roughly 5 feet 5 inches tall.

The armed suspect was wearing blue gauge earrings, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue basketball shorts with a white stripe on each side, white socks, and black shoes. He had short shaved hair.

The other suspect was wearing a black long-sleeve T-shirt, a shirt covering his face, black pants, and black shoes with white tips. The man, also described as having a thin build, was carrying a black duffle bag.

Police said a Hispanic man in his 20s was seen sitting in a white minivan, possibly an early 2000s model, and could be connected to the suspects..
