TEMPE -- Police are seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects in connection with three recent East Valley bank robberies.

On Dec. 31 about 5:30 p.m., one person entered the Arizona Federal Credit Union at Baseline Road and Hardy Drive and handed a teller a note demanding money, according to Tempe police. Another person waited outside the bank, apparently on lookout.

The teller handed over the money and both suspects fled the bank, police said.

Tempe police have not yet identified the suspects but believe they are also connected to a robbery at the same bank on Oct. 31 and an Ahwatukee bank on Dec. 23.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

The suspect who approached the teller is described as a Hispanic man in his mid-30s to 40s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, and weighing between 190 and 220 pounds. He has a thick mustache and thin beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue and green "heavy duty" button-up long-sleeved work shirt, jeans, a black baseball cap, athletic shoes (possibly Jordan style), sunglasses, and a black wig with straight hair.

The suspect who served as the lookout is described as a Hispanic man in his mid 30s to early 40s. His height and weight are unknown.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, long-sleeved button-up shirt with vertical stripes, jeans, and black shoes. His face was clean-shaven.
