PHOENIX -- Phoenix police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a dollar store on Monday.
The armed suspect was wearing a strawberry-blond wig and ditched his disguise while he was making a run for it.
Police said after the attempted robbery near 56th Street and Thomas Road the man took off in a stolen car, which he later abandoned in a nearby neighborhood.
Witnesses followed the suspect and called police, but the man still hasn't been found.
He's believed to be between 30 and 40 years old, about 6 feet tall and 220 pounds.
