PHOENIX -- Finally, we can report the ridge of high pressure that’s been saddling the west with warm and dry weather is beginning to show signs of weakening.
It appears by the middle of the week, a decent storm system will enter the Pacific Northwest and northern Rockies, sweeping to the north of Arizona. Even so, that storm will bring big temperature changes for the Valley and a slight chance for rain and snow showers in northern Arizona.
Thursday looks to be the warmest day this week with a high around 80. By the weekend, highs will be running in the upper-60s, which is actually about normal for this time of year.
