MESA, Ariz. -- Silent Witness is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of two men accused of taking advantage of an elderly Alzheimer’s patient.

According to authorities, two white male suspects drove an 87-year-old woman to the Bank of America at 4343 E. Broadway Rd. in Mesa on Nov. 14.

One of the men accompanied the woman inside the bank and manipulated her into making a cash withdrawal from her account. The man then took the money from the woman.

The woman does not remember the incident, and does not know the men who took her to the bank.

One of the suspects is said to be in his early to mid 30s, standing 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 and 230 pounds. The other suspect is believed to be between 50 and 60 years old.

The vehicle the men used to drive the woman to the bank is described as a white, single cab pickup.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-948-6377, or visit SilentWitness.org.
