PIMA COUNTY, Ariz. -- The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for help in locating a convicted felon accused of attacking an elderly man.
Thomas Lars Domagala, 27, is suspected of being involved in numerous crimes since his release from prison in March. He is wanted by the Sheriff's Department for his alleged involvement in at least six different burglaries since July.
Last week, Domagala broke into a residence and attempted to steal the homeowner's car. The male victim, who is in his 80s, heard suspicious noises and went to investigate. When he found the suspect, a physical confrontation ensued during which Domagala pistol-whipped the elderly man.
The victim suffered serious, potentially life-threatening injuries, including a fractured skull.
Domagala is currently on the run from law enforcement and potentially uses a stolen white Saturn SUV. He may be accompanied by a woman identified as Tabitha D. Alvarez, 26.
Domagala is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
