SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. -- An 18-year-old San Tan Valley high school student facing sexual assault charges was re-arrested Thursday after five more alleged victims came forward, according to the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
Tyler Kost was initially arrested Monday after sheriff's detectives identified 13 alleged victims.
He was released from jail on $10,000 bond.
According to the sheriff's office, a deputy Pinal County attorney had asked Superior Court Judge Larry Wharton to set bond at $100,000. Wharton was informed that the teen allegedly threatened to kill victims and witnesses.
Detectives have requested that Kost now be held in Pinal County Jail without bond.
Sheriff's detectives began investigating the Poston Butte High School student after receiving a call on March 25 alleging that Kost had sexually assaulted, sexually abused and molested five teenage girls in the San Tan Valley area, according to Sgt. Pat Ramirez.
Ramirez said the victims are high school students and one is 13 years old.
The alleged assaults reportedly took place in Kost's bedroom, in the girls' bedrooms, in the desert, at parks and at a community pool.
"It just got to the point where I didn't want to be at school anymore," one of the girls told 3TV. "I didn't want to be around him. I was afraid. I was afraid of him."
Detectives say they expect even more victims to come forward.
The sheriff's office will release additional information at a press conference Friday.
