PHOENIX -- All of the rain we've seen over the past couple of days has left a Phoenix family of nine without a home.
Decoya Watson lived in the area of 16th Street and Broadway Road with her two sisters and their six kids.
All of the rain caused the roof of their house to collapse. The Phoenix Fire Department says the entire structure is unstable, meaning the Watson family is displaced.
It started with a ceiling leak Friday night after a day of nearly constant rain. Watson said she and her sisters took turns emptying buckets of water. The next thing they knew, the ceiling collapsed in several parts of the home.
"Everything is totaled," Watson said. "My whole room caved in. Everything is damaged."
The Red Cross provided the family with clothes, food, medications, and a place to stay for the next few nights.
Watson said she's worried about the future.
"I don't know where we're going to start from," she said. "I'm sad. ... It's a lot of stuff is going on right now. I don't know what we're going to do."
A Red Cross spokesman said the organization is working to help find a long-term solution.
