Police seek 2 car theft suspects; reward offered

PHOENIX -- Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 to help identify and locate a man and a woman involved in a car theft.

A black Honda Prelude was stolen in the area of Bethany Home Road and 27th Avenue in Phoenix between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on July 17, according to police.

On July 23, the suspects drove to a Circle K near Van Buren Street and 26th Avenue where they were captured on surveillance video.

The car was found abandoned in Glendale three days later.

One suspect is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, bald, with a mustache, goatee and tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and sunglasses at the Circle K.

The other suspect is described as a white female, 25 to 40 years old, with a heavy build and tattoos on her arms. She was seen wearing a white tank top and red shorts in the store.

Police have released the video and photos of the suspects in hopes that someone will recognize them.
